7-1 & 7-2: Do on p. 191-192 # 26-38. Show work for all. Have a great Thanksgiving.
1. Finish reading chapter 3 and placing 4 D/I post its.
2. Take the manila folder with the work you emptied out of your binder and put it in a safe place at home.
3. Have a nice thanksgiving.
1) Read pages 7-16 and use post-its to determine importance and find at least one significant idea for each page you read. Remember to place your post-its on the bottom or top on the page.
2) Identify and define new vocabulary words. Be prepared for a pop quiz.
All streams:
1. finish taking notes on on chapter 1, section 1
2. quiz next class based on your notes
All 7th grade
1) Read the first passage in Of Mice and Men.
2) Find at least one craft presented in the text and make a prediction about what you think will happened in the text based on the important craft you identified. (One page in your reflection section)
Homework #24 – (Due 11/23 for 7-2, 11/24 for 7-1)
1) Read page two in Of Mice and Men
2) Find at least three crafts presented on that page.
3) Draw a picture of the scene presented on page one. Make sure the picture is colored and highlights one of the significant crafts found on page one.
7-1 & 7-2: Read p. 182-184. Do on p. 185-186 #4, 5, 12, 14, 16-19, 21-23, 29-31. Show work for 22, 23, 29-31.

1. Final drafts of your Columbus essays are due next week on Tuesday.
2. Bring in canned or boxed food for the Helping Hands food drive.
3. Sunday (11/22) at 8pm on the National Geographic Channel is airing a program called “America before Columbus.” The show will discuss in greater detail some of the points we talked about in class. It also will likely get in to our first EQ about how we know about the past. It should be cool. I am going to watch it. You should too.
7-1 & 7-2: 1) File unit 3’s hw and classwork sections. Move the appropriate sheets to the Toolkit section. 2) Read p. 176 -179. Do on p. 4, 11-14, 24-29, 37, 38. Show work for 4, 11-14, 28, 29, 37, 38.
