End of Unit Assessment–Answer the Unit Queston
Use the rubric to help you know what you have to do to reach the highest level of achievement.
- First, make a googledoc that you share with our teacher. Name the file: “7-#-yourfirstname-Unit-Question”. Using the free writing you did in class, identify something you can find a CC image to illustrate. Put that in a Google Doc (http://googledocs.bsge.org) that you share with the teacher. Time yourself, do a free-write for 5 minutes about the picture.
- Secondly, under that free-write, start your work that will be assessed: Use the work you did in class, and the free-write on the picture. What questions do you now think you need to ask and answer before you can write the reflections on the Unit Question? Show your pre-writing and editing in that same Google Doc (http://googledocs.bsge.org) that you started with. (The teacher will be looking at how much effort you put into this.)
- Finally, write a thoughtful, well, structured blog post in Personal Learning Space with a CC image (credited) that reflects on our answer to the unit question. ALL this pre-writing work is in the same google doc–ONLY the final draft with picture gets copy/pasted into the blog post.
All streams: start preparing for the science test that will be on 3/18 & 3/19
*The next unit test will be Monday 3/17/2008 covering unit 5’s material. Begin reviewing your study guides to see what will be on the exam.
*Come prepared for the state test: Eat breakfast. Sleep well. Bring pencils, erasers and scientific calculators.
